Some we have used ourselves, and others are ones that we have heard about. Since we do not claim rights to any of these, please use them at your own risk. Skype is an easy way to talk to people over the web! Not only can you call computers using a mic and webcam, but you can also call landlines or cellphones for a cheap rate. Very good program!

The Gimp

Put into the Editing Program category.

GIMP is a GNU Image Manipulation program, which also happens to be free, which also happens to be very budget friendly to the graphic design community^ However, there are a few downsides to this program. A: I have never been able to figure out this program... Course I don't have much patience either. The GIMP is highly complex, being high on the programing community. You can basically do anything with this program, if you can figure it out. The only other downside, B: It's even a bit involved to download. No matter what the case, I'm sure $0 compared to $100 for PSP or $700 for PS is a huge incentive to figure this program out!

Photoshop

Put into the Editing Program category.

Here it is, the all famous Adobe Photoshop. And there it is with its pricetag, too-.-... Yes, although it is soooo expensive, it is worth it. Photoshop is the graphic design editing program of many people. There are so many different features and ways to manipulate it, the options are endless. I believe the trail version is for 30 days, which afterwards you might have to plop down the $700 for it. If you are lucky, maybe you could find someone who already has it...and... take advantage of that situation??^.^.. Anyways, PS is almost needed it today's graphic design community. If you don't have it, get it!
