Second to the Last
It’s almost time to go back to the States
.. Oh well, I knew it was coming someday soon. Today we went to Ryogoku and toured the Edo Tokyo Museum there, which was pretty cool. It had some nice artifacts from Japanese history, however, I believe that I enjoyed the Beijing Capitol Museum better.. It may have been because I’m more of a fan of Chinese art, and we also had a tour guide at the other one. It was still very interesting, and even had some taiko drums!!
After that we headed to Asakusa for some “normal” Japanese omiyage and lunch. I had fun going around all the different stalls, and I found some good stuff. Lunch was udon with beef which was quite tasty. Their broth was amazing!… I sound like that Ramen Girl movie now ><
I then headed off to the Harajuku area with Fran, Maria and Luke to get some crepes and have some fun looking at all the shopping. We really didn’t buy anything, but it was fun just being there again. It was their first time, and probably my last time there for now. We ended our trip for the day in Shinjuku, walking around and exploring, eventually having dinner at Freshness Burger, which was quite tasty as the last time. I’m going to miss that in the States.. Well, tomorrow is Pokemon Center tomorrow, should be fun! Then farewell dinner^
