Hikaru Hoshi, as it is today, is a little piece of the .com universe that is meant to inspire, teach and expose you, the viewers. We strive to expose you to the cultural aspects of many cultures-- whether it be through music, graphic design, language tutorials or just our team's lives, we want to be something different than other sites. We are not just a graphic design site- no, Hikaru Hoshi aims to be different, to stick with you, so you will keep coming back. We have no ads. We get no revenue.. of course, except for your satisfaction. Throughtout our site, you will find many different things. Some people may say that we are too varied, that we should stick with one theme and run with it. I've taken those considerations under wing, and have implimented them here and there. For the most part though, we are what we are. If you like us, hey, welcome to the "We Love You" club. If you hate us, sorry. No matter what, we still depend on you. What is the point of doing all this if we have no one to look at it? Hikaru Hoshi is just not our hobby, it's something to be proud of, something to make us interesting. Hi, I'm Josh, 20, and the webmaster of Hikaru Hoshi. I do a lot of the nitty gritty things here, like a ton of coding... and more coding.... and more... and hey, I even get to have fun sometimes and design things! I really love my team, and I couldn't do anything without them^ I'm a pretty friendly person, but in real life I am kind of quiet until I get to know you. I'm always open to suggestions, and I do truly like constructive feedback. I am studying at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. Right now, I am majoring in ESL (English as a Second Language) Education and Asian Studies with minors in Japanese and Linguistics. I also work as a semi-professional website developer and graphic designer. Yay! Fluently, I speak English. I'm at the intermediate level of Spanish and Japanese. I'm Briar, also known as "Bri". I have some form of a life, or so I like to think. I keep to myself mostly, although I have a huge group of friends whom I love to pieces.
